New HANIKA models!

With the amended Appendix II to the CITES Washington Convention from 1st January 2017, which now includes all Dalbergia species as well as Bubinga, further documentation of origin is required. We have developed four individual models with new combinations of wood that do not require further documentation. We are for example replacing our Grenadill neck reinforcements (Dalbergia melanoxylon) with RichLite® material, which provides even better bending stiffness than Indian rosewood and almost comes up to the values of ebony. We´ve chosen Ziricote for the bridge, a type of hardwood that has way better damping values than Indian rosewood. You can download our information sheet on our CITES-FREE models here:

More details on the individual models are available in the respective guitar lines.

These instruments are now available for purchase from specialized retailers.
